Greetings, fellow adventure-seekers! Whether you’re a local looking to shake up your routine or a traveler with a curious spirit, Durham, NC, has got a day trip that’ll leave you smiling from mountains to shore! Known for its rich history, thriving arts scene, and delicious culinary delights, Durham is a hidden gem waiting to be mined. I’ve compiled a list of the top 20 best things to do, see, or eat during your visit to this charming city, and trust me, you won’t want to miss a single one!

First, I want to give a shout out to USFMAN from Snippets of a Traveling Mind, who asked a great question on my blog post “What I love about living in North Carolina”

USFMAN wanted to know if I had sightseeing recommendations for a first timer to the Durham area. I was so excited to answer this question that I decided to create an entire blog post dedicated to the answer. What can I say, I can’t do anything half way. It’s go big or (ahem) go to Durham!
