Choosing Your Downtown Accommodation: Staying in Downtown Asheville is a fantastic choice if you want to be immersed in the city’s vibrant atmosphere. With several excellent options available, it’s important to find the perfect fit for your needs. While I have previously covered properties like Hotel Indigo, Element, Cambria and the Renaissance in detailed informational videos, today we’ll focus on a noteworthy hotel that deserves your attention: the Hilton Garden Inn downtown. Join me as I take you on a tour of the hotel and its surroundings, offering insights into my favorite nearby places to eat, shop, and explore. And stay tuned until the end, as I reveal an incredible feature exclusive to the Hilton Garden Inn!
Exploring Hilton Garden Inn and Its Features: The Hilton Garden Inn is a mid-range hotel boasting 140 spacious rooms, catering to couples, families, and even pet owners. With four meeting spaces available, it is an ideal choice for business trips or hosting small conferences, retreats, or gatherings of up to 100 people. The hotel’s prime location allows guests to enjoy easy access to downtown shopping, restaurants, and activities at a more affordable rate compared to properties situated in the heart of the bustling downtown area. Additionally, the Hilton Garden Inn offers a rare find in downtown Asheville—a rooftop restaurant and bar, along with an outdoor pool, making it a standout choice.

Stepping into the Hilton Garden Inn Experience: As we step into the Hilton Garden Inn, we are greeted by a cozy lobby exuding a laid-back, vacation vibe. The lobby features local artwork available for purchase, allowing you to take home a piece of Artsy Asheville. On the right, you’ll find the Pillar Kitchen, where a delectable breakfast awaits you. The sundry shop, offering a decent selection of essentials, sits conveniently between the check-in desk and the elevator. The hotel also houses a business center, workout room, and an outdoor pool, making it an ideal retreat after a day of exploration.

The Perfect Venue for Events: If you’re planning a small conference, retreat for, or gathering for 100 people or less, the Hilton Garden Inn provides three meeting spaces on the main floor.
I saved the best part for last! The Hilton Garden Inn has one feature that NO other hotel in Asheville has. They offer a FREE Shuttle to drive you to and pick you up from anywhere in the downtown area. All you have to do is call the driver, tell them where you’re at or where you want to go and they’ll come get you! Although Downtown Asheville is walk-able from end to end, it’s nice to have a shuttle option for cold or rainy days or for when your feet get sore from exploring. It’s also a nice option since The Hilton Garden Inn is also a few blocks away from the main shopping and dining areas of the city.

Culinary Delights in the #1 Food City: Asheville proudly holds the title of the #1 food city in the US, as per a 2022 Yelp Survey. Renowned chef Gordon Ramsay even explored the region in an episode of ‘Uncharted,’ where he sought culinary inspiration and cultural experiences. The city’s farm-to-table philosophy, along with its focus on vegan and gluten-free options, showcases its dedication to providing unique dining experiences. Asheville takes its food seriously, and you’ll be in for a treat as you explore the local restaurants and allow your taste buds to savor the incredible flavors.
